Woman's body found 17 days after she went missing

Decomposed body of a woman was found in banana orchard in Dadpur village under Kaliganj upazila of Jhenaidah 17 days after she went missing.

The deceased was known as Keya Khatun, wife of Sabjel Hossain, hailed from Narendrapur village. She was student of class eight in Baliadanga Dakhil Madrasa.

Jhenaidah additional police super (sadar circle) Abul Bashar said, noticing the decomposed body in the area this noon, locals informed police.

Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Jhenaidah Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
