Asia Cup: Bangladesh take on UAE in evening

Sport Desk: Hosts Bangladesh will take on United Arab Emirates in their second match in the ongoing Asia Cup 2016 in Dhaka on Friday.
The match will begin at 7.30pm at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur and will be telecast live on Star Sports 1, Gtv (Gazi Television), Maasranga and BTV (Bangladesh Television).
Bangladesh have lost the first match against India by 45 runs and look a turnaround in form against UAE.
UAE, the Associate, almost stun Sri Lanka last night but were defeated by 14 runs.
Bangladesh are likely to bench Imrul Kayes and the choice could be between Nurul Hasan, who did reasonably well against Zimbabwe last month, and Nasir Hossain, who was dropped for that series.
Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza said that they are looking to make the amends of the mistakes against India and are firm to do better against UAE.
"UAE has played the best cricket in their level and come [to the Asia Cup`s main event]. We have to perform professionally and win this match. We played till a certain period against India but we have to do better against UAE. We have watched UAE`s video clips we have a good enough idea about them," he said.
UAE captain Amjad Javed keeps faith in his team`s abilities and look forward.
"The bowlers will get a boost [from helpful pitches] and will want to do well and when the batsmen see the bowlers performing and restricting a team like Sri Lanka under 130, they`ll want to perform well to. So definitely they`ll come back tomorrow and I hope they will do well," the UAE captain said.
