BCB announces squad for ODI series with two new faces

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Monday (February 14) announced a squad for the three-match ODI series against the visitors Afghanistan.

The 15-member squad includes two new faces. They are batsman Mahmudul Hasan Joy and right arm fast medium bowler Ebadot Hossain.

Other members of the squad are: Tamim Iqbal, Liton Kumar Das, Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib Al Hasan, Mahmudullah Riyad, Afif Hossain, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Mustafizur Rahman, Taskin Ahmed, Shariful Islam, Nasum Ahmed and Yasir Ali Chowdhury.

Tigers will play three ODIs against Afghanistan as part of ICC One Day Super League to be held at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Sadium, Chattogram.

The first ODI is scheduled to be held on February 23 while the second match on March 25. The final and last ODI will be held on February 28. All the matches will begin at 11:00 am.

Besides, three ODIs, the two teams will play two T20Is to be held on March 3 and March 5 respective. The T20Is will begin at 3:00 pm.
