Biman gets new managing director

The country's national flag carrier, Biman Bangladesh Airlines, got a new managing director (MD) on Wednesday (December 7).

Shafiul Azim, additional secretary of the cabinet division, was made the new boss of the national airliner.

The public administration ministry issued a circular in this regard.

In another development, the Additional Secretary of the Cabinet Division, Rahat Anwar, has been appointed as the Chairman of Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation (BJMC).
