Biman’s special flight leaves Dhaka for Singapore with 106 expatriates

The first special flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines has left Dhaka for Singapore with 106 expatriates.
The flight took off Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 8:13 am on Tuesday (April 20).
Biman’s deputy general manager (Public Relations) Tahera Khandaker confirmed the news.
Biman will operate special flights for Singapore to carry expatriate workers on every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, according to sources.
Meanwhile, Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) sources said that about 3,500 workers stranded in the country were able to go abroad on Monday. A total of 16 flights took off till 8:00 pm on the day. Of these, Biman and Saudi Airlines operated six flights (three for each) to Saudi Arabia.
