Gold price hits new record

The gold price has hit a new record in the local market.

Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) has fixed Tk 1,06,376 a  bhari of high quality 22-carat gold (11.664 grams).

BAJUS issued a press release signed by MA Hannan Azad on Saturday in this regard.

The new prices will be effective from Sunday (November 19).

Also, the price of 21-carat gold has increased to Tk101,535 per bhori and 18-carat to Tk 87,013 per bhori.
