New price of soybean oil from March 1

The new price of soybean oil will come into effect March 1 (Friday). 

The decision was taken at a meeting of the task force on monitoring the market situation and commodity prices at the commerce ministry on 20 February, with State Minister for Commerce Ahasanul Islam in the chair. 

Bottled soybean oil will be sold at Tk 163 per liter at the retail level. And, each liter of loose soybean oil will be sold at Tk 149. Besides, the price of 5 liters of bottled soybean oil will be sold at Tk 800.

Bangladesh Vegetable Oil Refiners and Vanaspati Manufacturers Association informed this on Thursday (February 29).
