Gold price drops

Bangladesh Jeweller’s Association (BAJUS) has announced the decline in the price of gold in the local market.
The standing committee on pricing and price monitoring of BAJUS issued a press release in this regard on Tuesday (March 19).
The new price will come into effect from March 20.
As per the new prices, the price of 22-carat of gold has been fixed at Tk 1,11,158 per bhori, 21-carat of gold fixed at Tk 1,06,142 per bhori, 18-carat of gold fixed at Tk 90,979 per bhori and the traditional one (18-carat) at Tk 75,816 per bhori.
The prices of 22-carat silver, 21-carat silver, and 18-carat silver are Tk 2,100, Tk 2,006, and Tk 1,715 per bhori respectively.
The price of traditional silver is Tk 1,283.
