Gold price hiked by Tk 4,502 per bhori

Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) has hiked the price of gold by Tk 4,502 per bhori again.  

A press release signed by Masudur Rahman, chairman of the standing committee on pricing and price monitoring of BAJUS, disclosed this on Tuesday (May 7).    

As per the new price, per bhori 22-carat gold will cost Tk 1,15,450.   

Apart from this, the price of 21-carat gold has been set at Tk 1,10,201 per bhori, 18-carat gold at Tk94,455 per bhori and the traditional gold price at Tk78,090.   

According to the press release, the new-revised price will be effective from May 8 (Wednesday).
