Gold prices decline

The prices of gold have been revised downward in the country.

The price of 22-carat gold has been fixed at Tk 1,68,976 per bhori (11.664 grammes).

Bangladesh Jewellers’ Association (BAJUS) announced this on Saturday (May 3).

The new rate would come into effect from Sunday, BAJUS said in a statement.

However, price of silver will remain unchanged.
