Banks in industrial areas to remain open Wednesday

Branches of the scheduled banks in the industrial areas will remain open tomorrow (June 11) to facilitate important and foreign transactions of import and export-oriented industrial enterprises or customers, including pharmaceuticals and industrial sectors.

The Bangladesh Bank (BB) earlier released a circular in this regard.

The areas are Dhaka, Chattogram and authorized dealer (AD) branch of other important commercial areas, according to the circular.

The clients will be able to do banking transactions between 10 am and 2pm, but the office will remain open until 4pm.

After the Eid-ul-Azha holiday, banks will resume activities from June 15 and provide banking services as per regular time.
