‘Walton plaza to be top sales network ensuring highest customer benefits’

And thus, the company has taken various innovative initiatives including launching one-stop solution and hire purchase customer’s protection policy.

The remarks were expressed at the day-long 'Challengers Summit-2023' organized by Walton Plaza held at Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC.'s headquarters at Chandra, Gazipur on Thursday last (January 26, 2023). With the slogan- ‘We were the best, we are the best and we will be the best’, more than 1500 Walton Plaza managers and assistant mangers along with officials across the country participated in the day-long summit.

Significant discussions on electronics and technology business were addressed at the summit, along with necessary directives given to the sales executives by Walton authority.

Walton Plaza’s Managing Partner SM Mahbubul Alam presided over the 'Challenger's Summit 2023'. Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC.’s Chairman SM Nurul Alam Rezvi attended the summit as the chief guest while Vice-Chairman SM Shamsul Alam, Directors SM Monjurul Alam Ovee, Zakia Sultana and Nishat Tasnim Shuchi, Managing Director and CEO Golam Murshed and Walton Plaza’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mohammad Rayhan were special guests.

Among others, R.B. Group’s CEO SM Shoyeb Hossain Nobel, Walton Digi-Tech Industries Ltd.’s Additional Managing Director Liakat Ali, Walton Hi-Tech’s Deputy Managing Directors Nazrul Islam Sarker, Eva Rizwana Nilu, Md. Humayun Kabir and Md. Alamgir Alam Sarker, Senior Executive Directors Col. (Retd.) SM Shahadat Alam, Md. Yusuf Ali, Md. Firoj Alam, Sohel Rana, Md. Yasir Al-Imran, SM Zahid Hasan, FM Iqbal Bin Anwar, Dr. Md. Shakhawat Hossen, Ariful Ambia, and Md. Tofail Ahmed, Executive Directors Azizul Hakim, Zeenat Hakim, Mofizur Rahman Zakir, Mohammad Shahzada Salim, Yasin Ali, Mohsin Mollah and other senior officials also attended the event.

Film actor and Walton’s Senior Executive Director Amin Khan moderated the function.

At the Challengers Summit, Walton Plaza’s Managing Partner SM Mahbubul Alam said, ‘Challengers are those who create something new by facing adverse situations. Every member of Walton Plaza is a challenger. And, the country’s enormous customers are the challengers’ strength. Customers led Walton to move ahead beyond the country towards becoming one of the top brands in the world. Thus, maximum benefits should be ensured for them.’

For Walton Plaza, he made a new slogan titled 'Kreta tumi apanjon, ghor bipodeo amra sathi sarakkhon’.

SM Monjurul Alam said, ‘The electronics and technology products’ market is changing. The sales executives are the messengers and they deliver the right message to us so that we can move forward with timely and right decision.’

Golam Murshed said, ‘We had to struggle a lot in the electronics and technology sector after the country’s independence. But the market situation of Bangladesh changed with the established of Walton. Now almost every household of the country have electronics and technology products like fridge-TV. Customers have always been with us. Along with them, the hard works of our dedicated sales team and members of all departments led Walton to be the top brand. Now our goal is to become one of the top global brands. To achieve the goal, we have to face huge challenges.

Mohammad Rayhan said, The Walton Plaza’s best sales fighters are the best in the world. Walton products are the best products in the world. Having such a strong sales force and superior products, no foreign brand or product can ever gain an advantage in the Bangladeshi market. We will always be at the top in the country's market.

He also said, Walton Plaza is the only one in the world that introduced hire purchase customer protection facility. We are delivering one-stop service to every house. In 2022, 12.50 lakh customers joined in our customer bank and 1.8 million more customers will join this year. By 2025, every home will come under Walton Plaza's customer bank. Walton Plaza will be the top sales network in the country.

In the conference, the best managers and area managers of Walton Plaza in different regions were awarded. The summit was ended with a splendid cultural program.
