LGP price increased by Tk 79

The price of a 12kg Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinder has been increased by Tk 79 to Tk 1,363 at the retail level.

Earlier its price was Tk 1,284.

Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced this at a press conference on Monday.

According to the announcement, the new price will be effective from October 2.

As per the revised price, the BERC has increased price of LPG supplied by private companies to Tk 113.61 a kg, including the Value-Added Tax (VAT).

Besides, price of LPG (auto gas) used in automobile has increased to Tk 62.54 a litre from Tk 48.87 a litre in September.
