Censor rejects Sunny Leone`s `Mastizade`

Risingbd Desk: Sunny Leone starrer Mastizade, which was touted to be the best sex comedy of the year was set to release in May 2015. However, in a twist of events the movie was not cleared by censor board.

Later the movie’s team moved to a Tribunal court against the censor board.

The movie was not cleared by the censor board for having too much sexual content.

After the rejection the film was again sent to the revising committee of the censor board which also found the content too explicit for public viewing.

 

However, the censor board, later on agreed to pass the movie but with a lot of cuts, which seemed—unacceptable by the movie’s team.

If released later—the movie will be out with an “A-certificate”.

For now the decision over the movie directed by Milap Zaveri, starring Tusshar Kapoor along with Sunny Leone, stays pending as a reply from the Tribunal court is awaited.
