State Minister, his son becoming independent candidates

State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Zakir Hossain and his son Safaet Bin Zakir are becoming independent candidates from Kurigram-4 constituency (Roumari, Rajibpur and Chilmari) in the 12th nation election.

Nomination papers were collected for them from Roumari Upazila Election Office on Tuesday (November 28) afternoon.

Kurigram District Election Officer Jilhaz Uddin confirmed the news.

Biplab Hasan Palash has been elected as the Awami League candidate for Kurigram-4 constituency to contest the 12th national election.
