Technical Glitch: Northern rail communications disrupted

Rail communications between Dhaka and northern districts was disrupted as engine of Tangail commuter train went out of order in Sonalia area of Habla union under Basail upazila in Tangail.

The incident took place around 7:30am on Thursday (February 29).

Mohera railway station officer Sohel Mia said that the commuter train came from Tangail station at 7:10am. Later, the engine of the train developed a glitch.

A relief train is coming from Dhaka. The train communication will resume soon after it is removed, he added.
