Coast Guard unit joins team to douse fire at S Alam Sugar Mills

A firefighting unit of Coast Guard has joined the team who are trying to douse the fire broke out at a sugar mill, owned by S Alam group, in Karnaphuli upazila of Chattogram district.

The fire originated around 4:15pm on Monday. 

Being informed, twelve firefighting units rushed to the spot and are trying to extinguish the blaze. 

Officer-in-Charge of Karnaphuli Thana Johir Hossain said the fire was not brought under control yet.
