41.5°C temperature in Rajshahi, miking continued to be alert

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has issued a 72-hour nationwide heat alert saying the ongoing heat wave is expected to continue in most parts of the country including Rajshahi.
People of Rajshahi are experiencing the blistering heat as the severe heat wave is sweeping over the district.
Local administration has started miking urging people to take proactive measures to safeguard themselves from the adverse effects of the impending heat waves.
Normal life is being disrupted due to the extreme heat across the district. No one is going out of the house without much need in the ongoing heatwave.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 41.5 degree Celsius in Rajshahi on Saturday noon, according to Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
Earlier, Rajshahi recorded 41 degrees Celsius on Friday.
People's lives are coming to almost standstill in the northern districts due to the very severe heatwave.
