Nixon show-caused for violating electoral code of conduct

The Election Commission (EC) has issued a show cause notice to Mujibur Rahman Chowdhury Nixon, lawmaker from Faridpur-4 constituency, for violating electoral code of conduct in the Upazila Parishad Election.

The notice, signed by Bhanga and Sadarpur Returning Officer and Faridpur District Additional Election Officer Ziaul Haq Khan was sent on Monday. 

Nixon has also been asked to appear before the returning officer in-person at 4pm on Tuesday (May 28) and reply to the notice.
