Dhaka streets take deserted look ahead of Eid

Dhaka city has taken a deserted look as thousands of people left the capital to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with loved ones.
Most homebound people were seen leaving the capital during the last two days.
The government holiday was started from Wednesday (April 19). Many people sent their family members to their native village two to four days before the Eid. A good number of people left Dhaka on Tuesday evening. Those who could not leave due to various reasons, are leaving Dhaka today (Thursday).
As a result, all most all areas of the capital are seen empty except market places, bus and train stations.
Visiting various parts of the city including Shahbagh, Farmgate, Azimpur, Newmarket, Elephant Road, Karwan Bazar, Fakirapul, it was found that the city got empty and such images were visible in many places of the city.
