DU admission tests begin on Friday

First year admission test in the undergraduate programme of Dhaka University (DU) for the academic session of 2023-24 will start tomorrow, Friday (February 23).
Dhaka University Online Admission Test Committee Convener Professor Dr Mostafizur Rahman confirmed the information to risingbd on Thursday (February 22).
The test will be held from 11:00am to 12:30pm. Like previous years, the DU authorities have decided to take the exams on the campus and seven divisional cities across the country to reduce the suffering of students and parents.
The admission test will begin with the arts, law and social science unit on February 23 and end on March 9.
The admission tests this time will begin on February 23 (Friday) with arts, law and social science unit. Then the test of the commerce unit will be held on February 24 (Saturday), science unit’s test will be held on March 1 (Friday) and fine arts unit’s test (general knowledge and drawing) will be held on March 9 (Saturday).
Professor Mostafizur Rahman said that this time a total of 112,274 applications have been submitted. Out of this, 51,391 candidates applied from humanities faculty; 48,834 candidates from science faculty and 12,049 candidates from business education faculty.
