Heatwave: Govt primary schools to remain shut for 7 days

Considering the health and protection of child students, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has announced that all government primary schools will remain shut for seven days starting from April 21 due to the ongoing heatwave that is sweeping across the country.

A notification, signed by Mahbubur Rahman Tuhin, senior information officer at the ministry, has been issued on Saturday (April 20).

Mentionable, all educational institutions across the country were supposed to reopen on Sunday (April 21) after Ramadan and Eid vacation.
