IU ‘D’ unit admission test held

Jibon from IU: The admission test of ‘D’ unit under Applied Science and Technology faculty of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia for 2016-17 academic sessions was held on Tuesday.

The admission test was held around 5.pm in two shifts at six examination centers.

Some invigilators said ‘D’ unit admission test was supposed to hold with four subjects including Physics, Chemistry, English and Mathematics. But the question papers of the unit’s ‘B’ set was found without 19 questions and founded doubling of the subject of Chemistry expecting English.

As a result, the admission seekers felt hesitation to fill up their answer script.

Later, on information the ‘D’ unit test authorities provided the appropriate question papers to the examination centers delaying more than half an hour of the test.

However, the authorities formed a three member probe body, headed by its treasurer Professor M Selim Toha, to investigate the incident of ‘D’ unit question missing.

The others probe body members’ are- the university’s acting registrar SM Abdul Latif and Professor Kazi Aktar Hossain, the dean of Business Administration faculty.

The university authorities asked the probe body to submit their investigation reports within seven working days.
