Nine DU BCL men suspended

Staff Correspondent: Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) suspended nine activists of its Dhaka University unit on charge of breaching party rules at Sir AF Rahman Hall.

A BCL press release signed by its central president Saifur Rahman Sohag and general secretary SM Jakir Hossain confirmed the matter on Sunday night.

The BCL activists are- Shohel Mamun, Mahfuz Arafat, Rabbi, Liton, Shafiq, Ashik, Jamil Hossain, Shahin, Jakir Hossai.

Witnesses said that BCL activists of Sir AF Rahman Hall beat up Dhaka University Band Society general secretary Farabi on Sunday evening. Later, following the issue, the DU BCL unit took the step.
