HSC admission will be held in 3 phases

The admission process for higher secondary students under the 2020-21 academic session will begin on August 9 and continue till September 15.

The details of the process have been uploaded on the ministry's website.

The first phase application will continue from August 9 to August 20. The applicants have to apply on the address https://www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd. No application will be accepted through SMS this year.

One student can choose minimum 5 colleges and maximum 10 colleges. Every student has to pay 150 as fee.

In first phase, results of selected candidates will be published August 25 and students must complete the selection process within August 30. 

In second phase, application will continue from August 31 to September 2.  
In third phase, application will continue from September 7 to September 8. 

Last year, the higher secondary educational institutions started their classes on July 1.

The education ministry published this year's SSC results on May 30 last, after a delay of one month due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Under 11 education boards across the country, over 16.90 lakh students out of over 20.40 lakh passed the exams from 28,796 institutions and 3,603 centres this year.
