DSHE issues show cause to 10 teachers

Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) has issued show-cause notices to 10 teachers for posting negative comments in social networking site Facebook.

The teachers were asked to explain the causes appearing before the authority, according to the notice published on Thursday (March 4).

Some negative posts/news were published following a draft list for promotion to the post of senior teacher of the school. The authority concerned has noticed the issue, said the DSHE statement.

The ten teachers are – Khulna’s KDA Khanjahan Ali Government secondary high school teacher (Bangla) Omar Faruk, Mymensingh’s Gafargaon Upazila Khayrullah Government Girls High School assistant teacher (English) Md Aktaruzzaman, Barguna Zilla School assistant teacher (Bangla) Harun-or-Rashid, Sirajganj BL Government Assistant Teacher (Mathematics) Md Saiful Islam alias Samrat Saiful, Chandpur Government Technical High School Assistant Teacher (Bangla) Mohammad Taiyab Ali, Pirojpur Kaukhali’s Government KG Union High School Assistant Teacher (Mathematics) Md Abu Ishak Chowdhury, Dhaka’s Sheikh Jamal Government Secondary School teacher (Mathematics) Ilias Ahmed and Nilphamary Government Girls School teacher Md Rezwanul Kabir.
