HSC results published

The results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations of 2021 have been published.

The average pass rate in the examinations is 95.26 percent.

The chairpersons of all the education boards – nine general boards, one madrasa education board and one technical education board – handed over the results to Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni upon permission from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina around 11:45 am on Sunday (February 13).

The results of HSC, Alim, HSC vocational, Business Management and Diploma-in-Commerce exams were announced from the International Mother Language Institute in Dhaka’s Segunbagich. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina joined the result announcement ceremony virtually from Ganobhaban.

A total of 189,169 students have achieved GPA-5 in the examinations.

Last year’s exams were held on fewer subjects and a shortened syllabus due to the coronavirus pandemic.

About 14 lakh students participated in the examinations under the 11 education boards across the country.
