Dr Shahadat Hossain Azad new proctor of IU

Professor Dr Shahadat Hossain Azad of English department has been made the new proctor of the Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia.

IU vice-chancellor Professor Shaikh Abdus Salam appointed him to the post for the next one year.

A press release signed by IU acting registrar HM Ali Hasan confirmed the matter on Wednesday (February 1).

Prior to the post, Professor Azad was the director of the International Affairs Division of the university.
