Singer Pagol Hasan killed in Sunamganj road crash

Popular singer Pagol Hasan, 35, was killed in road accident when a bus collided head-on with a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Sunamganj's Chhatak upazila on Thursday morning (April 18).

The other deceased was identified as Sattar Miah, 53, driver of the CNG. Both the victims were from Shimultola of Muktirgaon area in the upazila.

Chhatak police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Shah Alam said the singer along with some of his relatives were going towards Chhata from his village Shimultala around 7:30am. Meanwhile, the bus collided with it, leaving him dead on the spot and injured three others.

Later, the injured were sent to Chhatak upazila health complex where Abdus Sattar died under treatment.

Some of his notable songs are “Jibon Khata”, “Asmane Jayonare Bondhu”, “Ami Ek Papistha Banda,” “Relgarir Engine”.
