Band icon Shafin Ahmed no more

Country’s one of the most popular singer and band icon Shafin Ahmed no more.

The popular singer breathed his last at a hospital in Virginia of the United States, on Wednesday (local time) due to massive heart attack.

Shafin Ahmed’s brother Hanin Ahmed confirmed the news.

He was 63 years.

Shafin Ahmed established the Bangladeshi rock band Miles in 1979. Continuing with Miles as the vocalist, songwriter, composer, and bass guitarist from 1979, Shafin Ahmed first left the band in 2009. He rejoined in 2014 and continued till 2017, left for the second time, and rejoined for his final run with the band in 2018, after permanently leaving the band in 2021.
