Aditi Mohsin`s new album to be released Wednesday

Dhaka, Jan 6 (risingbd24.com)--Renowned Tagore song exponent Auditi Mohsin’s latest album will be launched at Bengal Shilpalaya at Dhanmondi on 8 January.
Titled ‘Barshamukhor Raate Phagun Sameerane’, the album will be unveiled by theatre personality Ramendu Majumdar as chief guest at 6:30pm.
The launching programme will be followed by a musical soiree in which the singer is expected to render some of the songs from her new album and others.
The album features a total of 12 Rabindra Sangeet numbers on monsoon and spring seasons including ‘Esho shyamalsundar’, ‘Abar eshechhe Ashar’, ‘Bajromanik diye’, ‘Ashar tomar mala’, ‘Shyamal chhaya naiba gele’, ‘Amar din phurilo’, ‘Aji jhorer raate’, ‘Jodi tare nai chini go’, ‘Akash amay bhorlo aloy’, ‘Tui re basanta shamiran’, ‘Phagun haway haway’, ‘Jhora pata go’ and ‘Tumi kichhu diye jao’.
Durbadal Chattopadhyay has directed the music of the album, said a press release.
A talented Tagore artiste, Auditi Mohsin is popular both in Bangladesh and India as a prominent Rabindra Sangeet singer. The singer, who took her music lessons from prestigious Visva-Bharati University in Kolkata, has, so far, released a total of eight audio albums to her credit. She has been working as a senior teacher at Chhayanaut since 2000.
