Veteran actor KS Firoz dies

Veteran actor KS Firoz passed away at a hospital in the capital on Wednesday morning. He was 76.

He died around 6:15am at Combined Military Hospital (CMH).

His daughter Hajan Feroz confirmed this to media. He will be buried at Banani graveyard after Johr prayer.
He left behind wife and three daughters to mourn her death.

Producer Chayanika Chowdhury said Firoze's presence in Bengali dramas as well as movies is significant.

He got involved with the theater troupe 'Theater' and started acting. He acted in 'Sat Ghater Kanakari', 'Kinglier' and 'Rakshasi'.
KS Firoz made his television debut in the play 'Deep Tabuo Jwale'. Dolly Ibrahim was opposite him.

Born in Barishal, the actor got a commissioned job in the Bangladesh Army in 1986. He retired from the post of Major in 1986. KS Firoz's first movie is 'Lawarish'.

He also acted in 'Sankhanad', 'Bamshi', 'Chandragrahan' and 'Brihannala'.
