Actor Abdul Kader laid to rest 

Prominent actor Abdul Kader has been laid to eternal rest at Banani graveyard in the capital, family said.

He was buried around 5.35pm after his second Namaz-e-Janaza at the mosque adjacent to the graveyard. Earlier, the body was kept at Shilpakala premises around 3:00pm in the capital's Segunbagicha area for showing respect.

The actor, who was also diagnosed with stage IV cancer, was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) from Coronavirus-unit of the hospital after his health condition had deteriorated on Thursday (December 24) night.

He breathed his last at Apollo Hospitals Dhaka at 8:20am on Saturday (December 26) while undergoing treatment.
