Rabindra Sangeet singer Mita Huq no more

Eminent Rabindra Sangeet singer Mita Huq has died after being infected with coronavirus or Covid-19 (Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un).

She breathed her last at 6:00am on Sunday (April 11) while undergoing treatment at Specialised Hospital in the capital.

Actor Mustafiz Shahin, son-in-law of Mita Huq, confirmed this to risingbd.

Mita Huq's test report came back positive after she tested for coronavirus on March 25. Since then, she was in home isolation. Since March 31, she had been undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Mita Huq is the wife of late eminent actor and director Khaled Khan. Their daughter, Farhin Khan Joyita is also a Rabindra Sangeet singer.
