Music director Farid Ahmed dies

National award winning music director Farid Ahmed has died of Covid-19.
He breathed his last at the intensive care unit of Square Hospital on Tuesday morning.
Farid Ahmed’s daughter Dudana Farid confirmed the news.
The musician tested positive for Covid-19 last month, along with his wife, Shiuly Akhter. As his condition deteriorated, he was taken to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital on March 25.
Farid Ahmed won the National Film Award in 2017 for his work in "Tumi Robe Nirobe".
