Musician Hyder Husyn hospitalized

Popular musician, lyricist and composer Hyder Husyn has been admitted to hospital. He was admitted to the capital’s Evercare Hospital on Tuesday (June 7) evening.

His wife Nusrat Jahan confirmed the matter. She said, “Hyder Husyn has been suffering from diabetes. He took admission to the hospital as his blood sugar level was found high.”

She said, “He was taken to the hospital yesterday (Tuesday) morning as he felt illness. He was admitted to the hospital as per advice of a doctor. He has to stay there for two or three days. However, his sugar level has already returned to normal level since Wednesday (June 8) noon.”

Hyder Husyn started his career in the Bangladesh Air Force as an aviation engineer. He started his music career as a playback guitarist since 1979. He used to play playback guitar with famous composer Alam Khan. Later he worked with the pop king Azam Khan.

His popular songs include “Tirish Bochor”/ “Faisha Gechi”/ Sorkari Officer”/ “Gonotontro”.
