`Shonibar Bikel` gets censor clearance

Popular filmmaker Mostofa Sarwar Farooki’s much-talked movie ‘Shonibar Bikel’ (Saturday Afternoon), has received clearance from Bangladesh Film Censor Board.

The film was stuck in the Bangladesh Film Censor Board (BFCB) for four years. Finally, it got clearance today (January 21).

However, the film would have to be released with a disclaimer saying that Shonibar Bikel is not related to the 2016 Holy Artisan incident.

Mostafa Sarwar Farooki said that there is no more barrier to release the 'Shonibar Bikel'. We are very happy hearing the news. Now we are waiting for the letter. of course, I want to release it before Bollywood's movie 'Faraaz'.

The film stars Zahid Hasan, Nusrat Imrose Tisha, Mamunur Rashid, Iresh Zaker, Intekhab Dinar, Gausul Alam Shawon, Indian actor Parambrata Chatterjee and others.
