Aparajita Adhya’s mother dies

Seasoned actress Aparajita Adhya lost her mother on Monday (February 27).

She was unwell for quite some time and was suffering from geriatric issues. She had fever and other ailments.

On Monday morning, her condition deteriorated. Aparajita, who had a scheduled shooting today (February 27), was contacted by her relatives and she rushed to her parents’ house. But before she could take her mother to the hospital, she breathed her last, Aparajita had shared.

Condolence messages have been pouring in from her co-stars, industry peers and fans.

The actress is currently busy with her small screen project, besides movie and other commitments. She was supposed to attend the shooting for an ad campaign today, when the tragic incident happened.

On the small screen front, after playing the titular role in ‘Lokkhi Kakima Superstar’, Aparajita is currently hosting a family game show. The daily soap, which featured renowned actor Debshankar Halder opposite her as the male lead, had a brief run on Bengali small screen and concluded its journey much sooner than expected._Agencies
