Film Director Pradeep Sarkar passes away

Pradeep Sarkar, a popular Bollywood film director, has passed away at the age of 68.

He passed away at 3.30 AM on March 24 at a hospital. He was on dialysis and his potassium levels had dropped drastically.  When his condition deteriorated, he was rushed to a hospital at 3 AM.

He was known for some well-known hindi films like Mardaani, Helicopter Eela, Parineeta and Laga Chunari Mein Daag.

The social media platform was flooded with messages from Bollywood actors and directors. Several celebrities paid tribute to the 'Parineeta' director.
