Entertainment Correspondent, KOLKATA, Nov 18: Noted Bangladeshi director Mostofa Sarwar Farooki’s film ‘Television’ has won the NETPAC award at Kolkata International Film Festival.

The Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema (NETPAC) award was handed over at the star-studded closing ceremony of the eight-day festival on Sunday night.

Actress Nusrat Imrose Tisha and producer Faridur Reza Sagor received the award on behalf of the ‘Television’ team from noted director Gautam Ghose.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Bollywood beauties Bipasha Basu, Sushmita Sen and Rani Mukherjee, veteran actress Mousumi Chatterjee and leading Bengali film heroine Koel Mullick, who were felicitated as "pancha kanya", were present on that occasion.
