Actress Jeba Chowdhury jailed for three years

A Dhaka court has sentenced actress Zeba Chowdhury Joya alias Farida Parveen to three years in jail in two separate cases for misappropriating money.

Dhaka Judicial Magistrate Md Mujahidul Islam pronounced this verdict on Tuesday.

Zeba Chowdhury has remained absconding.

Advocate Mahbub Hasan Rana filed the cases on May 8, 2022.
