Assam Chief Minister threatens Bangladesh 

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has threatened Bangladesh over chicken’s neck debate.

On Wednesday, he said, “If Bangladesh thinks of attacking India’s chicken’s neck corridor, India will retaliate by targeting both their chicken’s necks.” 

The Assam Chief Minister said, “They (Bangladesh) have two chicken’s necks, we have one. If they attack us, we will hit them on both.” 

He said, “The area of chicken’s neck from Meghalaya to Chittagong Port is smaller than ours. We can grab its neck if we want. We talk about chicken’s neck in our internal politics. So, will anyone come and lay hands on our chicken’s neck?” 

At this time, he mentioned India’s overwhelming military power and said, “It needs rebirth to challenge India. There is no point in giving so much importance to Bangladesh. It is a small country. They can never be compared to India.”
