India’s Covid-19 cases rise, six deaths in 24 hours

India's active Covid-19 case tally has crossed the 6,000-mark with 378 fresh cases reported in the last 24 hours.
Kerala has been marked as the biggest contribution in the fresh infections, followed by Gujarat and West Bengal.
Ministry of Health and Family Welfare's (MoHFW) data said this on Sunday, June 8.
Six new Covid-19-related deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours — two in Karnataka, three in Kerala, and one in Tamil Nadu.
Kerala continues to be the most affected state with the active cases tally reaching 1,950 on Sunday.
As many as 753 patients were cured/discharged/migrated from across the country till this morning, as per the official website.
