Four US fighter jets have departed from a base in eastern England as reports grow of plans for the United States to get involved militarily in the conflict between Iran and Israel, the BBC reports.
Photos taken by an amateur photographer show F-35 fighter jets departing from Royal Air Force Lakenheath. They were accompanied by an air refuelling tanker plane.
Additionally, it is reported that B-2 Spirit bombers, which are capable of carrying out an attack on Iran’s underground facilities, have been stationed at a base in the Indian Ocean, within 4,000 kilometers of Iran.
In the past three days, at least 30 U.S. military aircraft have been moved from the United States to various bases in Spain, Scotland, and England.
