At least 10 killed in Russian metro explosion

International Desk: At least 10 people have been killed after explosions on two carriages on the Saint Petersburg subway.
Another 50 people have been injured following explosions that are reported to have involved shrapnel-filled devices.
Pictures posted on social media show the door of at least one Metro train has been blown out in a blast. Other images showed passengers lying on the ground of a station platform in the Russian city.
Russia's President Putin, who was due to meet his Belarusian counterpart Lukashenko in St Petersburg today - has expressed his condolences after the "possible terror attack".
