Myanmar military plane missing with 116 aboard

International Desk: The chief of Myanmar’s army says a military plane has gone missing with 116 people aboard, according to media reports Wednesday.
The plane went missing between the southern city of Myeik and the capital Yangon, Indian broadcaster NDTV reported.
The army chief's office said "communication was lost suddenly" at about 1:30 p.m. local time when the plane was about 20 miles west of the town of Dawei, NDTV said.
Search and rescue efforts are ongoing, the broadcaster added.
