China sends 149 medical experts to 16 countries

China has sent 15 batches of 149 medical experts to 16 countries for COVID-19 prevention and control work, said Mi Feng, spokesperson for China's National Health Commission on Saturday (May 2).

China is willing to continue to work with the international community to combat the pandemic, said Mi.

According to the World Health Organization, a total of 213 countries and regions have reported infections.
