Bangladesh ranks 19th globally in number of coronavirus cases

Bangladesh now ranks 19th on the list of total confirmed coronavirus cases globally, according to worldometer.

Bangladesh reported record 3,171 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours, raising the total number of confirmed cases to 71,675.

With this, Bangladesh surpassed the total number of Covid-19 cases reported over the same period in Qatar. The country currently ranked 20th as its total number of coronavirus cases stood at 70,158 with 1,368 new cases.

Meanwhile, record 45 people died of coronavirus infection in Bangladesh in the last 24 hours, climbing the death toll to 975 in the country.
