Earthquake hits Turkey-Syria border, over 100 killed

A 7.8 magnitude earthquake has hit Turkey-Syria border, killing over 100 people.
The US Geological Survey said the deadly tremor struck at 04:17 local time (01:17 GMT) on Monday at a depth of 17.9km (11 miles) near the city of Gaziantep in Turkey.
The quake was felt in the capital Ankara and other Turkish cities- Gaziantep, Kahramanmaras, Hatay, Osmaniye, Adiyaman, Malatya, Sanliurfa, Adana, Diyarbakir and Kilis.
The tremor was also felt in Syria, Lebanon and Cyprus.
The German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) said the chance of a tsunami risk was being evaluated.
