India train crash leaves 50 dead, over 300 injured

At least 50 died and over 300 injured in a major train accident in Odisha in which an express train collided with a train.

According to local reports, Coromandel express collided with a train in Odisha’s Balasore, leaving 15 bogies derailed in the accident.

Coromandel Express, which was going from Kolkata to Chennai, rammed into the derailed coaches of the other train, which was going from Bengaluru to Kolkata, Railway Ministry spokesperson Amitabh Sharma told NDTV.
